ಬಂಟ್ವಾಳದಿಂದ ಪುಂಜಾಲಕಟ್ಟೆ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತೆರಳುವ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಯ ಬಿ.ಸಿ.ರೋಡ್ ನ ಭಂಡಾರಿಬೆಟ್ಟು BHANDARIBETTU ಸಮೀಪ ಮಳೆಗೆ ಮಣ್ಣು ಸಹಿತ ಬಂಡೆಕಲ್ಲೊಂದು ಜರಿದು ರಸ್ತೆಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದ ಘಟನೆ ಶನಿವಾರ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ಭಾರಿ ಗಾಳಿ ಮಳೆಗೆ ಮಣ್ಣು ಕುಸಿದ ವೇಳೆ ಬಂಡೆಕಲ್ಲು ರಸ್ತೆಗೆ ಉರುಳಿದೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಬಳಿಕ ಪುರಸಭೆಯ ಜೆಸಿಬಿಯಿಂದ ತೆರವು ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಪುರಸಭಾ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಹರಿಪ್ರಸಾದ್ , ಕಂದಾಯ ಇಲಾಖಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು

An incident occurred on Saturday afternoon when a stone along with mud fell onto the road near BhandaariBettu on the B.C. Road leading from Bantwal to Punjalkatte due to rain. It is said that the stone rolled onto the road when heavy winds caused the mud to collapse in the afternoon. Later, clearance operations were carried out by the BANTWAL municipal JCB. Municipal member Hariprasad and revenue department officials were present at the site.
